English Immigration to America in the 1900's

In the 1900's, about 2.5 million people left England and came to America to settle.
The common factor that pushed English Immigrants out of America are since the World War II was happening in England, many people left.
One of the pull factors that pulled English immigrants over was hopes for good economics because their wasn't very much industry in England. Another pull factor was Americans, because they came over to England to get people to work for them as indentured slaves. Most people who came over from England settled in the Northeast, specifically Virginia and Pennsylvania. After they settled, most of the English immigrants worked as workers, miners, or factory workers. The English Immigrants didn't have much trouble finding jobs or shelter because they spoke the same language and looked the same as most
Americans.
